The Simple Stylin’ S2k

roller

This here is Kevin Tran’s Honda S2000. We like to see this as a good example of the simpler way of having ‘all that stance’ the kids are on these days.
It’s very clean. The fenders aren’t way overdone, the wheels aren’t too big, the tires fit the rims, and it’s sitting at a great ride height.
Now before you freak out, all this isn’t to say we don’t like aggressive stance…. we do! A ride doesn’t have to have huge fenders and poking rims to look good. That’s all we’re saying.

This S2000 has quite a goodie-bag. With the APR Carbon Fiber front splitter and APR GT500 Carbon Fiber rear spoiler, Kevlar Carbon side diffuser and rear diffuser, this thing is stable on the road.

rear

It goes as good as it looks too with the Apexi coilovers underneath those great body lines we call the S2000 and rolling on a set of Alergon Intelesse’s sizes 18×8.5 and 18×9.5 from Louisiana’s own CZ Wheels (more on them in a later post).

engine

Take a look past the mulderized headlights and you’ll find a Vortech super charger at 10 psi which puts out 330 HP/305 TQ.
Combine that with the Berk HFC, Magnaflow catback system, and it being tuned on split-second EMU and Apexi NEO, you’ve got one serious package under the hood.
And that’s not all… Password JDM header heat shield, Carbon fiber radiator cover, and Password JDM spark plug cover were added to complete the look.

To finish off the car’s interior, Kevin added a AEM a/f gauge, Autometer C2 boost gauge, Kenwood reciever, JL Audio 12″ sub with a custom box, Orion amp, 5 Infinity 1/2″ door speakers, and Boston audio tweeters. So now it sounds and goes just as good as it looks! Wait we already said that… well I mean’t since it has the Magnaflow exhaust + the sick interior audio setup… nevermind!!

Special thanks goes out to Kevin and his S2000 and our photographer Mark Bello for the awesome pictures!

Until next time, thanks for saving the roots.
